hi my husband has cirrhosis and we are just wondering can you have steroid injections in your spine as my husband has back pain and been told to have these injections we are not sure weather they can do any damage to the liver many thanks

Never heard of that, I definitely think that is a question for some serious doctors, I doubt anyone on this board will know what to say.
I have heard of that treatment before for chronic back pain. Saves him have lots of analgesics'. No procedure is risk free. I think as has been said here before. Have a chat to your consultant, They will know for sure, email him, asked that they page him, ask his secretary whet time he will be back, you have to push. Good luck.
