Haemochromatosis and cirrhosis

Hello everybody newly diagnosed last month

I also have Haemochromatosis diagnosed in December 2020

I realise the haemochromatosis has caused the cirrhosis but until I get an appointment with a dietician I'm really confused as to how to handle my diet

Abit confused and lost at the moment all so overwhelming to receive two illness within 7 month

I share your condition, avoid red meats and anything iron fortified like enriched flours, many cereals and white breads. Eat small fresh meals often and avoid processed foods. Basically I follow the Mediterranean diet. I do enjoy my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches still just had to shop around for best options

Hello, I have hemochromatosis and fibrosis. I try to follow a diet based on vegetables, fresh products and sports. When I was diagnosed I had 1200 of ferritin.
