Just spoke to the doctor dosnt think I need a scan yet till I’ve had my bloods redone this Thursday

Which are AFP,C,CRP,E,LFT,LIPNF,UE and go from there as for the pain

I’ve got more zapains naxproxen and more omeprazole hopefully the naxproxen work for the pain

No but my previous doctor said something about one another doctor who I had recommended a mri scan the doctor now does not think it’s liver related said wait for the bloods to come back Friday other two doctors one thinks it was the booze while the other thinks it’s liver related in other words I’ve had 6 doctors since end of January and they know nothing while my pain is increasing each week

In the UK, NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) have devised guidelines with the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) that state people diagnosed with NAFLD should have further testing to assess for their risk of fibrosis- stiffening or scarring in the liver.

The specific blood tests are Fib-4 score blood test or an Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) blood test. A specific scan called a FibroScan also estimates fibrosis.

I'm afraid i do not know what access you have to fibrosis testing in your area of the US, but you may want to discuss with your medial team. Good luck..
