A quick update.

Dear all,

Just thought I would give you a quick update. I have just completed cycle 5b and have agreed a two week break in treatment to allow time for a family holiday. Even managed to get travel insurance to cover me in France. Looking forward to a change in scenery & some quality time with my boys. I will start cycle 6 on return and then scan to assess tumour response. My Oncologist has already agreed my next chemotherapy regime for 2nd line treatment as we are only expecting this chemo (gem/cis) to hold growth after last results. I have had a few extra side effects this time, but I am plodding on regardless. I am keeping up with the goings on, on this site and also wanted to thank you all for your support and for those who have PM'd me. It is appreciated.
