I have AIH cirrhosis @56. It is very overwhelming to get that DX but you are already helping yourself by exercising & losing weight. There are many folk here with cirrhosis that live long & more or less normal lives after DX. Let the worry subside in time & focus on all that you can still do & look forward. You live with cirrhosis, it doesn't define you. (Sorry, not meant to be a pep talk but you do learn to live with it). Access counseling services if you can. I found it useful to talk to someone with no personal connection - you can be open about your fears/concerns without fear of upsetting them too. Good luck.
