Quick question - If you have a decompensated liver and your legs are weaker some days - do you rest or push on with exercise? Would be interested to know what people find works for them on mobility bad days. Thanks .

Question - do you push it?
In my case if I did too much exertion I'd feel too sick to carry on any way. It didn't need exercise to do that though just doing normal everyday things was enough. It is important to keep somewhat active, but how active is really down to how you feel and it will probably vary from day to day. One thing for sure, sitting in a chair or laying in bed all day is definitely not good for you, so pushing on and getting up and about doing something is important. How much up and about is probably difficult to judge and really down to each individual to judge.
When I was decompensated I really didn't do much , my body wouldn't let me no matter how much I desired .. I'm now compensated, have been for nearly 13 yrs now, but I still have my good and bad days, mobility wise I have chronic pain, bone degeneration of the lower spine besides osteoarthritis etc..I listen to my body these days , if Iam having an energetic day I do quite a lot but that's me done for a day or so after .
That's me too
I think its the "norm " so to speak boots , I may be wrong but I've been like it now for a good few years.
Sounds to me like we are kind of stuck with feeling crazy a lot of the time. My bones really let me know if I have done too much, and try as I might the Holy grail of 10,000 steps seems to be totally unattainable to me!
don't we know it lol! Today is one of my lethargy days, slept through my alarm, never woke till 10am !! Thats late for me , done very little, yet I could still go back to sleep very easily,
Plus my osteoarthritis, when it gets a really bad flare up on my hip and knee I'm no use to anyone 🙃.
I do try not to let it get in the way of leading a normal a life as we can though dotandken.
Stay safe and enjoy the Easter if you can im nursing one of my cats, think she's injured her front paw 🐾, was in a fight around midnight and is not herself poor thing.
Babysitting 18month old grandchildren whilst my younger daughter moves,so I can't rest too much, but they do keep me going! Stay safe and not too many Easter eggs!🤫 xx
Oh dear.. I have not seen any of my 6 grandkids due to this lockdown, fingers crossed I will be very soon .thank you 😊.
How are you today? Still can’t PM you. Feeling very down myself.
I am sure you are tired and that never helps. Try and rest and distract yourself in some way. Worrying becomes such a vicious cycle and a really difficult thought process to reverse but it is possible.
Try and stay strong...

Good advice from your fellow forum users - listen to your body. Activity of some description is important in order to try and keep muscle tone - even if it is only a walk around the garden.

One foot forward, half a foot back! Listen to your body. Do what you can because doing just something cheers you rather than doing just nothing. But, perhaps, like with my old dog, monitor yourself and give yourself a break when you need it! Love and light xxx
