I posted last week after having 2nd blood tests. Had further blood tests yesterday.

My Billirubin was initially high, but went from 70, to 40 and now 28.

My ALT levels went from 70, to 31 however they have crept back up to 70 again.

I’ve now just had a full liver test which was 8 vials in total. I asked the nurse what they were for but she just said “full liver test”

Anyone know what that entails?

Also I’ve had an US scan which was clear of any noticeable damage.

Anyone also had fluctuating levels like this?

Thanks

Hi there, I wonder if you would feel able in asking your GP which bloods were taken? I've attached a link to common liver blood tests taken, I hope you find it useful.

To be completely honest, I’d rather have a doc run tests using 8 different vials to rule anything out as opposed to having to go back and forth for visits. From my experience, they’ll run a liver function panel, acute hepatitis panel, PT/INR, CBC with auto differential, comprehensive metabolic panel, Gamma GT. And even tests for autoimmune etc. It’s good that they run all the necessary tests as some docs just do the basics and then u have to be ur best advocate! Run it by ur GP and good luck.
