My hubby has deconpensated liver cirrhosis and has been abstinent from alcohol for 2 and a half years but still waiting to go on the list for transplant. Don't know how long he will survive without one. I worry every day about losing him, he is 46 and is only living half a life. Sorry for moaning, just hear of other people having transplants and feel like we get ignored x

I was shocked until l read the last sentence 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Reading closely as we have only just started down this road; I'm the caregiver, my partner was diagnosed in August like yours, in our case, alcohol driven. We're 20 years older and in the Rhineland. What seems to help are a positive outlook, taking one day at a time, and a bit of humor as Vsully indicates.
Wish you both all the best for the new year!
Thanks and it must've got a few people thinking an hopefully laughing Haha, yes mine was alcohol drivin and it's been over 2 yrs,Happy new year to yous to x
