Over the last months my husband has had phemonia, and the admitted again for peritonitis from a leaking appendixes, he had been surveying well his liver had been stable, stopped having ascites, he has had burst varies, and survived, they will not operate and take his appendix out now this week and last week we are now on antibiotics a sip of a drink causing coughing, sickness, and a foggy brain, it just seems now like a losing battle, and so worried.

May I suggest you call your doctor for medical assessment and treatment for your husband, particularly if he is not taking in much fluid?
If any symptom is persistent or worsening, you should seek medical help.
Call your doctor or NHS111 for advice and support.
