I was diagnosed with gallstones over 3 years ago. It has become very problematic and the pin is now constant on my right side. The issue I’m having is that I started to feel burning pain on my left side all the way down my waist, mid abdomen and back. My left shoulder also hurts and my upper back on both sides. Has anyone had this type of issue with gallstones. My last blood test was in January and everything was fine. I am also waiting to see the colon surgeon because of blood in stool. My doctor said the blood in stool doesn’t seem like something serious so the appointment is in February next year.

My gallstone pain was constant for 4 months and I was left in agony. If yours is constant then you need another blood test ASAP. I’ve had about 9 in 4 months, the last one was bad, and I have another on Monday to see if it’s still bad.
Consultant said things can change from week to week and you may have infection. I’m on an emergency list for removal.
My pain was also burning, it felt like I was being eaten away inside, gnawing and I couldn’t eat. Consultant said my pain wasn’t typical of gallstones, but I have them and all else is clear. I think the gallstones were stuck in my bile duct for months causing my pain.

Was your pain spread across the abdomen or just a specific area. My pain feels more like a discomfort not very painful and it’s spread everywhere.
Mine was too centre of stomach, I can feel it now but not as bad as it was...nowhere near. Thing is if you have some stuck the pain can spread. Everyone’s different. I really would consult your doctor. Pain is not normal and bodies response to tell us something is wrong x
