Went to a&e with really bad pains in my lower abdomen & lower back pain they said it would be my gallstones causing the problem but I’m not too certain. Did anyone else feel the gallstone pain in the lower abd

Yes, I had pain all over my back, upper & lower; pain all over abdomen. Slight relief with a bath, codeine was necessary for pain relief☹ Hope you get resolution soon.

I had similar pain 10 years ago. It went on for weeks, by the time l saw a specialist it was on the way out, but he diagnosed internal shingles! I have had gall stones for years, but it was low down and different from the usual colic. Good luck.

At times my are high up but recently they’ve been lower abdomen & lower back. Codeine just about helps the pain

Hi there I’ve had gallstones for few years the pain I get when having an attack is upper right rib going through top shoulder blade , but I’ve been having right low abdo pain couple inches away from navel for 18 months and the gp doesn’t know what it is the only thing that shows up on scans is gallstones !! Is your low abdo pain on the right ? X

Yeah on the right also, they said it could of been my appendix but they weren’t too sure. Getting sent for more scans to find out if it is the gallstones or not

Hi the lower right abdominal pain was my appendix, got rushed in on Friday & Saturday had emergency surgery to get the appendix out

Omg !! Hope your ok now and they told you it was gallstones too !! Useless I’m hoping it’s not my appendix as pain is just to the right of my bellybutton !! X

Thanks mate, struggling with the pain atm and not much they can do with all this COVID atm
