best Hospital for Hepatology

I am not sure if somebody can help in this

I have idiopathic compensated liver cirrhosis for approximately 10 years ,

And tried to find out the cause with many of the blood test and MRI , CT

Unfortunately doctors here in Dubai are not able to find out the reason because it seems it is very complicated case and required expert in liver disease

Which Hospital /medical center you recommend the best for Hepatology in UK in general or London , to proceed emails for the inquiry and prepare for the Visit

Both Kings College Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital in London are experts in liver care - both are also transplant hospitals so have the highest degree of liver expertise.

Both do cater for oversees/private patients although transplant is an NHS service and there arn't supposed to be private routes to transplant.

Kings have the ability to treat patients in other centre's including one in Abu Dhabi.

I would agree with Katie, though I only know the Royal Free has an excellent reputation I had my Transplant at King’s and they were amazing👍 Hope you get the support you need🙏

Hi Marwan, from personal experience and with NASH cirrhosis for more than ten years, I would wholeheartedly recommend King's Hospital in London, who are a centre of excellence. There are of course other great hospitals, including the Royal Free, but I have not personally had experience of their care.

Wishing you all the best.

The largest Liver transplant center in the US is Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. They have attracted people from all over the globe. They have great outcomes.
