Hello,
It sounds like you are having a difficult time. I hope you are under the care of a liver specialist and that you are getting appropriate monitoring for your fatty liver. Have you been investigated fully for the cause of your liver problem - particularly as there is a family history of liver problems. If you haven't discussed the exhaustion you are feeling, pain and numbness with your GP then you should certainly do this.
We do have a free telephone Helpline if you woudl like to talk to one of our liver nurses:
0800 652 7330 Mon - Frid 10:00 - 15:00
regards
Hi there, I take folic acid and vitamin B strong for my anaemia, both prescribed, the folic acid (5mg) helps the blood cells to absorb vitamins, and the B vitamins help with the production of red blood cells. . They do help I would recommend taking normal multivitamins along side, since diet doesn't always contain all the required vitamins for red blood cell production. . Once this starts to get going, you should start to have a bit more energy. . Hope this helps. .
