do my eyes look jaundiced ?

the inner corners of my eyes are jaundiced looking yellow tinged not real dark but different then the eyeball. head on they look normal untill i pull my lid down

It may help you to consider whether you need to see a doctor of some kind for reassurance or diagnosis.

thank you, im just asking if in these photos my eyes appear jaundiced. i do have a hepatolisgist i see as well as a upcoming appointment. i have compensated liver disease. ive been very jaundiced in the past but my liver healed and i became well again. but lately i feel i have a bit of tint in my eyes they have been this way for awhile now. due to being extremely sick in the past i have alot of post tramatic stress when it comes to my eyes. just asking for opinions.

I'm happy for you that you are getting the medical input you need. But still, absolutely no one can assess your eyes from a photo for a number of reasons. See your doctor and tell her about your recurring anxiety because this can make you ill too.

I can see a very slight tinge of yellow in the lower inner portion of your eyes. Yes. I do agree with you. But, of course, I do not know your eyes. If you are asking here, then you already know. Glad to read that you have an appointment with your hepatologist. It's never a bad thing to get checked out, regardless. If you are drinking, don't. Hope to see an update from you. Stay well.

Mine have always looked like yours, since I was a kid and they get worse if my diet is high in acid. My bilirubin has never been raised and I've never had jaundice. My 11 year old daughter has exactly the same eyes as me and my 4 year old son has dazzling bright whites with pale blue eyes....little sod. Your eyes look fine to me.

thank you i was just looking for others opinions a second pair of eyes type of thing i realize no one is qualified or trained to assest a health concern by a photo. just wanted to know if in that photo my eyes look off or average

Same as Casinobo have said, your eyes look ok to me. The white of the eyes is never snow-white anyway.

I can only re-iterate the advice other have given you: ask your doctor.

thats some what what i was trying to ask is if that off color could just be my normal eyes and wear and tear of age sun ect. thank you for responding

yes Rebecca, of course my opinion is not a medical one, but the color of your whites really looks perfectly ok to me.

Still, if you are still worried, a word with your GP will put your mind at rest.

I don't know anything, my eyes are bloodshot and yellowish half the time but l just don't worry about it, I am under a doctor's (actually several doctor's ) care. I am another who will tell you just to speak to your own hepatologist, they know you and more importantly your history and test results and are very experienced at evaluating symptoms.

You have beautiful lashes and lovely eyes, in fact you look like a very pretty girl from just these pics.
