LUQ & RUQ pain

Again I know the message board monitor will respond with no one here is a doctor. I get that. But once again I’m venting while waiting for my insurance to kick in so I can set a dr appt. but in the meantime I just want to reach out to you all. After having a clear ultrasound and clean blood test (after ALT 57 AST 66)being reassured there were no signs of liver damage at all. I was sent on my way. Having a cleaner lifestyle and working on readjusting my stress output I have been having a weird tightest/in my rib on the lowest rib bone and now I have the same weird pain in my mid left rib cage. I did have a colonoscopy after everything to find diverticulosis. I’m just trying to hear others stories or similarities to this issue of mine.

I think you should go to your gp. Have you been referred to gastro ? Have you had any other tests done? How would you score your pain out if 10? If it's really bad go a and e. Take care Lynne

I went thru all the formal testing. Went a gastro, had two blood tests to reassure my levels were normal. Ultrasound came back with no issues. I’m waiting for my insurance to start so at this point I can’t go a gp. The pain scale is like a 4 or 5. Nothing crazy, but discomfort.

Sometimes, your bloods can be normal but your liver not. I'm not trying to scare you but this does happen sometimes

It just isn't right that you hay to pay for health care like this. Please that care of yourself Lynne

Well with the blood tests and ultrasound the gastro was pretty definitive there was no damage. I just don’t know if this is a diverticulosis has similar RUQ and LUQ pain. I will be meeting my GP ASAP. Just wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any thoughts.
