Missed doses.

I have missed 7 days dose of 5 mg prednisolone by mistake and took extra 75 mg asprin instead so that's a double dose,I am 5 years post transplant through autoimmune hepititus

Do I need to worry much!!!

Check with your consultant to be on the safe side. The prednisone is an immunosuppressant presumably prescribed to help stop your body from rejecting the liver you received. You are most likely safe because you only stopped it for a week but the consultant may want to do some tests to check the status of your liver especially given that you took a double dose of aspirin.

Thanks,I have just rang the hospital pharmacy & he was't concerned about the asprin.He told me to have a liver function test as a precaution because of the pred,he told me not to worry though.

Haha, it's easy done. Two very small little white tablets which do look remarkably similar.

Probably a good idea to have a quick check to be on the safe side but, after only a week I'm sure you'll be ok.
