Hello. I’m new here and this is my second post. (I posted the same at Vasculitis UK)
I’m from Chile, I’m 42 yo and a math teacher (unemployed for the moment)
In February this year I was diagnosed with AIH and in May I had a nasty Vasculitis flare (which I didn’t know what it was yet!) and then doctors said I also had Autoimmune Pancreatitis and ANCA Vasculitis and most likely I didn’t have AIH but there was a chance they were all related so I started with cyclophosphamide infusions. Lungs and sinus got better but liver tests were getting worse so they decided to do a biopsy. Now I know I have not just ANCA Vasculitis but ALSO AI Pancreatitis AND AIH-PBC
Now I’m asking for advice... how can I get rid of the itching on hand and feet? Is there any advice on how to control the pain? What foods should I avoid? Is there anyone else with all of these autoimmune illnesses?
Thanks x

I have attached information regarding Auto Immune Heptatitis (AIH) and Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) There is mention of overlap syndromes in the publications
With regards to itch, you should discuss this with your doctors as they may be able to offer medication to alleviate this.
From a practical point of view, cool, loose, natural fibre clothing and keeping your room well ventilated and cool. Also moisturising your skin can be beneficial.
If you have pain , this should also be discussed with your doctors.
There is no specific foods to avoid or recommend but a normal healthy diet is best for general liver health. I have included a link to dietary information.
