Tight stomach muscles after gallbladder removal
Good Afternoon SimonWaverly,
I have attached some information regarding gallstones and surgery from the British Liver Trust website.
It can take a few weeks post operatively for things to settle down but if you have increasing pain or any other new symptoms you should seek medical advice.

Wishing you a speedy recovery

Good Morning Simon
I had the same op in October 2016 and I felt the same! You must remember your insides have to heal to which takes time! I recommend is avoid all fatty and greasy foods which could cause other complications now or a few years down the road as your Liver has to work much harder to break down fats etc.
I'm only recommending the above as I had my gallbladder removed in Oct 2016 and just by coincidental 2 of my other friends had there's removed that year too, all three of us are now under investigation for other medical problems relating to the gut and liver! My medical issues I'm putting down to eating to much rich foods and being over weight! This has now been sorted, I'm 3.5 stone down; fit as can be and I now eat healthy. Blood are also back in the normal range.
Hopefully you'll take on board my above comments and take it easy.
Love Trish
Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I wasn’t sure it it was normal so I really appreciate what you’ve said.
Simon
Cheers for reply, take it easy and try to avoid heavy lifting until you've fully healed inside ! Any concerns call your GP.
Kindest Regards Trish
