Thinking of doing a sky dive to raise a few quid for the liver trust, managed to rope most of the family in apart from the wife but wanted to check if there is anything I need to check prior to signing up. i know you pretty much have to sign your life away anyway but not sure if any of my "issues" will cause a problem:
Diagnosed -
Varices - very low grade, consultant said no need to do anything
Cirrhosis grade 4 - fingers crossed feel fine, little weaker than used to be, never been drained or had fluid.
General health - ok, heart etc alright, at work, odd bout of forgetfulness but nothing out of the normal
thanks in advance
Chris

That is amazing! Thanks so much for thinking of us. Please email our community fundraiser Louise at louise.crook@britishlivertrust.org.uk and she will be able to advise you.
Additionally you will need to get medically assessed as safe to do this with your own liver specialist and GP.
Ha. Quite. I’m in sunny Glasgow. It will try and organise something closer to home.
Hi Chris
I'm sure your already know that I too have already booked my sky dive for the 26th of October! It's great news your doing one too!
Louise at the British Liver Trust will send you the Parachute Associations medical forms! One has to be signed off by your GP! Good luck on than one as my GP did loads of checks first before approving.
You also have to be at the Parachute Associations recommended strict weight for your height! I was informed there's no movement on this !
The second medical form you read and approve yourself and take along with you!
Louise will send you all the info you need along with T shirts etc.
I live in Shropshire and will be diving from Skyline's airfield at Tilstock , Whitchurch which was recommended by the Liver Trust . I report at midday , the Airfield's not far from you in Cheshire . If you click onto me Slaines 1952 and scroll down you'll find my announcement !,
had a chat with doctor today, He said that with my condition there should be no problems but he can't give me a letter saying all will be ok, basically the balls in my court and it's up to me, i will give it some thought as it's something I want to do but I may have to build a bit more strength first.
Well Done Chris, that's a great cause. If I was younger, I would join you. I love all forms of flying, but all of mine so far have been horizontal, with just a gentle descent down 😁😁😁😁.
