You would never get me in a beard! It was bad enough being the third cuckoo in a nativity play at school when I was seven. Having to try and sing # Cuckoo, Cuckoo# when I had a cold with my inability normally to sing a single note in tune and then the whole audience in hysterics is an experience I will never ever forget....

About forty five years ago I decided that I'd shave my beard off, not realizing that you needed to trim it very short before you stared to shave. I ended up with six cuts and frostbite on my chin. After a gap of 40 years though I realised that i was a trend setter with my by now white beard.

What do they day about old dogs?
