Progress report,Varices banded

Hi,everyone..Just to stay in touch..It is now more than 2 weeks since I had 5 varices banded. After the 4th day I had terrible diarrhoea for about 4 days. Not very pleasant. But no vomitting or bleeding so far..The varices were grade 3 to 4,so pretty serious. My specialist has booked me in for another session,as he thinks it will take another 3 goes at banding before they are eradicated..Not looking forward to all that,but I suppose it is better than letting them bleed,which can be life threatening..I have been taking two weeks of Nexium H7P to kill the helicobacter pylori bacteria they found in the stomach..3 more days to go on the second course..I hope all that will make my life more normal. I would like to travel to Europe and Cyprus,at least one more time..
