Cancer worries post and pre transplant

A quick recap on my situation. I had liver transplants back in 1995 and have been on immunosuppressants ever since (mychophenolate). I’ve been back on the transplant list now for 15 months due to having cirrhosis. About 2 weeks ago I went for mammogram and yesterday I received a letter saying I needed further tests and I have an appointment for Monday. Is there anyone out there has had similar experiences and what was your outcome. Thanks

Hi, I have no experience of this issue, but wanted to say I'm sorry you are having to deal with more health stresses. I wish you luck for Monday, and hope they are just being super cautious rather than anything more worrying.

I'll be thinking of you. I won't say don't worry because that's not helpful, but I will say I'm sure they have more people getting the all clear than anything else.

Ahhh so sorry to hear 😔 fingers crossed its nothing major to worry about... I am sure there is a couple of people on here who have had battles with cancer post transplant it's the bloody tablets... I have a lot of cysts now post so let's hope its just that x

Thanks jojo. Yeah it probably is. Will find out more Monday. Was initially gutted to be suspended from the list, but everything happens for a reason x

Update. I went and had the tests that were needed on Monday and got the all clear. So relieved 😅. I’m back on the transplant list now x
