Cholesterol
I don’t know and we are not to comment on results as per the forum rules and that we are not doctors but what I can say is I had/have high cholesterol and I have cirrhosis and gallstones. My doctor just told me there is nothing to worry about and keep going with healthy, balanced meals and fluids.
Sorry I haven’t read the small print.
Are you on a cholesterol drug? It’s not that high but, I believe they want it under 200. I’ve been on one for years. Mine was 3 something when I was at peak fitness in my 20’s.Genetics and or poor diet ,will contribute to high numbers. Maybe the fat in our bodies causes Gallstones. Who knows. High Cholesterol is common. What does your Doc suggest?
Consequently, I had my Gallbladder taken out last year. I never knew I had problems with it. I always thought I had stomach gas or bloating. When that SOB finally went Crazy on me, I thought I was going to meet Jesus! I’m glad it’s gone. I haven’t had any real pain in my stomach since. If it comes down to they think it needs to come out, Don’t worry. The Surgery is a walk in the park. I was a bit worried because I never had a surgery before. Good luck to ya😀
That’s exactly the same for me. Never had surgery and I hate being in pain. I always worry about things I can’t see and have no control over ie the inside of my body. It’s 8 weeks off work too because of my job. I think the gallstones give me pancreatitis because of the location of pain.
8 weeks off? What kind of job is that? If it comes down to it, you will be fine in two. I went back to work in a week. Pancreatitis is a stretch. Pain can be from anything. I don’t know how old you are but Im 55 ,and pains here and there are the new me lol. I like most, start googling shit ,and find I have every fricken thing under the sun. The best we can do is try and live a clean healthy lifestyle. Other than that, we must spend time on Mindfulness ,and maybe spiritual things. Living in the present is critical in my book.
I’m 42. My pain is not synonymous to a gallbladder attack because the pain is in the centre of my chest. Just under the sternum. It radiates over a few minutes and can be quite mild or excruciating. I’ve never come across anyone with the same pain. The chances are, the gallstones are blocking the ducts that carry the bile from the pancreas. This is me guessing though. Every single doctor or specialist has failed to tell me what the pain is.
I can tell you for sure, my pain was right in the center of where you just described, when my Gallbladder went out. Gallbladder issues are super common. I had no idea. I hope you get to the root of the problem soon. Take care, let us know😎
