PIP PAYMENT

Fight for you PIP. Hubby was getting standard, and nothing for mobility, I thought this was shocking! Wrote a few letters with change of circumstances, then filled out a new form and told them it was change of circumstances, rather than Appeal. He has now got enhanced rate for both till August 2021. Fight for it guys, there are people fitter than yourselves getting it, and that's why you have worked and paid your taxes all your days for.

Fantastic news, shame it’s such a rigorous process when you’re entitled to it in the first place. Good on you xx

Well done Agnes, it’s a struggle but try and try again. You got there, why is it so hard?

Exactly, and still the points were crazy.. if he didn’t get enough I would have fought another round with them!

I must be very lucky. I scored one point on the self assessment questionnaire. Anyone who gets to the required score gets my sympathy, truly.

Great news Agnes. I'm currently waiting for the decision on my PIP assessment. It's incredibly stressful.

My husband has multiple conditions.all evidenced with doctors letters didnt get anything as they lied following home assessment.now going through appeal

all this adds extra stress on seriously ill people. He is housebound and struggles to get up stairs.mobility scooter and stair lift would be brought to imlrove his quality of life.

It's shocking! I wasn't brave enough to appeal, that's why I put a change of circumstances. The only time my hubby was out the door for months was for hospital, and I had to assist him with a wheelchair. Hew has now had his transplant, but a long journey to health.

Good for you, Yuiop!

Doesn't seem to matter what country you live in - you have to be the patient advocate for yourself and your family.

Best wishes to you both,

Mary
