Had my test done and it said I have advanced liver scarring and cirrhosis due to hep c and I had a ct scan with contrast and it said my liver looked normal so my dr put all my info together to send in for my hep c meds to take to get rid of virus. I dont know what scan to believe but I have to have to get fibro scan every 6 months. I'm not sure which scan to believe cuz my love Doctor acts like my fibroscan wasnt nothing. and from what I read up on it something? please any input if you have any. Thank you.

Fibroscan
I'm guessing you meant liver doctor rather than love doctor? lol
lol yes liver Doctor. which is only a nurse practitioner because the gastrointrnologist has her deal with hepatis patients. it's very frustrating because I have gained 40 pounds in just my stomach that makes me look pregnant and always out of breath and I eat salads and chicken I'm not a big eater I used to always be a size 9-10 jean gal. not to skinny and not fat well now I feel bloated. my ankles are all full of fluids. I press on them it takes an hour to get back to shape. I'm itchy on my hands and feet and my palms are red. but she thinks it's nothing. so I'm going to my MD today to address getting water pill to get rid of fluids because I think I have Aceties? I'm not sure this is crazy.
I'm afraid I don't know anything about Hep C, but the fibroscan can give scores which should not be fully relied upon on its own. If you type in Fibroscan on the search bar, you will find some posts explaining why this is.
I definitely understand feeling bloated with fluids and eating well. Definitely see the MD, I'm guessing you mean Dr? The CT scan would help with seeing ascites, which can form when you have cirrhosis.
You must see your doc and tell them your concerns. I wish I could be of more use, but this site has some useful articles which should give more info than I can. All the very best
There are two communities on Healthunlocked dealing with Hep C, they are I believe Hep C positive and Hep C chat though to be honest I often found that you're more likely to be answered posting on this site unless things have changed it,s been awhile since I,ve posted any Hep questions. best wishes, m.b. x
