Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Most of you know my history of cirhossis etc. Die been having trouble with my legs swelling up and had district nurses here putting stockings on me. A couple of weeks ago I had a fall and due to muscle wastage in arms couldn't get up. I was stuck. Luckily I my mobile was near and I called ambulance. They came and got me up, suspected a blood clot in federal artery and were ready to take me. Went in the kitchen to get something and fell backwards banging my head with a he'll of a cut and bump. Got to hospital who knew my history and they did a ct scan on head which was ok, then for some reason did a contrast dye ct on my liver and pelvis. The following day consultant came and looked worried and said he needed too speak to my hepatologist. He then sat on the bed and told me they had found a tumour on my liver and were certain its malignant due to statistics.
Saw hepatologist on Monday this week and I'm having urgent mri 24th Sep and things in Birmingham are being brought forward.
So, that's my worrying situation but i still have a smile, love to you all, Julie xx

Hi Jules I just saw your post and was moved to reply, I hope all goes well and that you have family or friends to support you at this worrying time. Best of luck Brave lady. xx
so sorry to hear what happened to you, thank God we have mobile phones by our sides these days. Whilst it's terrible, it may be a blessing in disguise, that it showed up. I was also at King's today for my usual ultrasound and consultant follow-up, everything is crumbling but my liver is holding its own amazingly. Shall be crossing all I can these days for you and sending you love and light.
