Please note that the British Liver Trust asks that users do NOT post any test results or ask for specific comment on such. Forum members are usually bot medically qualified.Test results vary according to both the individual’s whole health and the laboratory analysing the results and should therefore always be interpreted by the users own doctors.

We post our results all the time. But regardless definately ask the doctor you are seeing. Keep in mind Ast amd Alt (SGOT and SPGT) are not specific to the liver only. They can be indicators of muscle or skeletal as well for example. But that is a fantastic fibroscan result! So see that as a positive!

No, those numbers aren't normal, they are elevated. Keep getting lab work to see if the numbers come down. ALT is pretty liver specific, but can also elevate with gallbladder issues. AST can come from muscle, bone, kidneys, heart, liver, ect. I'd imagine if your numbers stay elevated for a while you'd have to have more tests. See if your fibroscan had a CAP score, which measures fat. Some fibroscans will give you a CAP liver fat and KPA for fibrosis.
