Hi all.I wonder if you guys can help with an embarrassing question I have please.I have liver cirrohsis..
Chronic pancreatitis..alcohol free 12 years.Lately well for week and half when I go to open my bowels there is like orange colour to it.I have a lot of wind.I had a little of this before consultant advised I needed creon and would write to my gp requesting this...however he must of forgot!!I am seeing him again Sept 7 and shall speak with him again.I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.I am worrying myself terribly and it is,my helping.I would appreciate your advice.Thankyou and Big hugs x Felines

I would be tempted to visit GP - get a full blood work up, check LFT's etc. and also ask about the Creon - say your consultant had said it would be requested in a letter. Just ask GP to check latest correspondence - it may be the GP that has missed the request (not unheard of).
I wouldn't be waiting for almost another full month, I see the Creon is to help with food digestion in people with pancreatic issues etc.

When there is a problem with the pancreas it is often the case that bowel motions are very fatty because the body cannot deal with fat properly in your food, the motions may even float in the toilet. Creon would be very likely to help with this so as Katie says - don't wait another month before you see the GP.
