Hi I'm Jeff I've got a decompensated liver, don't know what that stage I'm at, or if I am at a stage, my consultant believes if I stay off the booze my liver will get better, it will never be normal, so I have to be strong and be abstinent, occasionally I fail, and I beat myself up, I want to live and see my family prosper, plus my granddaughter, I go on a binges which means I go walkabout for a few days, I have to stop this now.

It's 9 days now, and that will turn Into 9 weeks etc, I have no intention of drinking again x

Great to hear Jeff. Keep it up buddy, getting off meds is always a good thing. Don't jump too fast as they do help with alcohol withdrawals. 9 days is awesome.

Don't think I'd come off meds until I'm sure I've beaten alcohol, I think you have tò treat them differently, alcohol is in our face all the time, it doesn't bother me if you stop, a bit of advertising ain't going to lure me back cheers mate
