Well today I got back into work albeit for 5 hours as really can’t handle waiting for that call again and feel like I’ve been hit with a sledge hammer aching all over and where they did the gas test on my wrist ( well I think that’s what they did) is still black & blue and throbs.
Moan over
Hope everyone is as well as can be

Hi
You aren't moaning, after what you've been through you've every right to have your say!! Take care Lynne
My ear lobe; razor blade and some deep heat. Like being back in the 1960’s lol!! I’m not surprised your heads in a strange place, you and Donna need to get back into the swing of life and as everyone says forget about it (easier said than done).....try and keep your chin up x
Hi Huw, let me remind you that you are human! Not a robot - what you and Donna have been through is absolutely heart breaking. I agree with Lynne your not moaning you are talking - doing exactly what you are supposed to do. Talk about your feeling what you are going through, they are in fact real and true. I have read over and over the wonderful positive posts you send to everyone and help them. It's ok to need help to, some encouragement and maybe a few laughs (if I new a joke off the top of my head I would tell you one ...lol). My time waiting was in the hospital so it was a bit different. My husband would say to me - I have a good feeling Tuesday will be the day- Tuesday would come nothing. Then he would say - I have a good feeling Friday will be the day - Friday would come nothing You get the picture. Take this time to do something that reminds you of the love/bond you have with your partner. Whatever that might be is up to you (silly, funny, emotional) something that makes you both smile - how about holding hands. Just like Chelle said easier said than done. It's hard it's very hard keep moving forward and keep your hope going!!!! I say this a lot 'Never say Never' . keep positive take care Huw.
That’s lovely thanks ever so much,I am very possitive and realise that in fact am very lucky to have support from not only family & friends also in this wonderful site where I/we know that here people really know what it’s like and it does help so much so thankyou once again and also to everyone who takes the time to read my and Donna’s posts
That's what I love about this place as well. I'm glad to hear you have a strong support system. I agree to talk to someone who has been or IS going through the same thing as you means a lot -they GET it. If I can help in anyway happy to. Ask any questions and I will give you my experience. ... Have a good day today!!!!!
Your wrist will be black and blue for a while unfortunately, i think mine took about 2 months to disappear. I was considering doing some horror movie hand modelling for a time but it did eventually go.
Your definitely entitled to moan and I glad I did so much on here because after transplant even though you don't forget what you go through it lessens the thoughts and feelings over time and because life isn't smooth sailing neither is recovery for everyone it's like my online diary to remind myself I got some through hard shit and I still here .... We understand so get it off the chest x
