Love this forum! All the kind people here patiently walked me through my liver biopsy and it helped a lot.
As my doctor suspected, I have a toxic-metabolic
injury to the liver. She thinks its from a gout drug I take but I'm not sure. My enzymes are sloooowly coming down.
My question though is my bilirubin numbers gyrate like crazy. They will be over the limit then come down, then stay up for a while [I get blood work every week]. Its always the indirect bili that is high. The GP mentioned hemolytic anemia so I have an appointment next month with a blood specialist but anyone else here have a similar issue? Thanks.
