Help fibro scan what is it please

I have alcohol hepatic stenosis and early cirrhosis I keep having ultra sounds and acamera down me stomach .diagnossis is worse now than when I stopped but I would not be here now 3years nearly I just don't no a lot and wondered wat there for.

I had a Fibro Scan this week. It is like an ultrasound so they will put jelly on your stomach and try to push in to your ribs near the liver as much as possible. It does not hurt. Every 20 seconds or so you will feel a tap and this transmits a sonic wave so they can see how bad your liver is affected. My Consultant was able to let me know exactly what was going on once he had looked at it. It only took a few minutes was was not uncomfortable or sore.

I have to have another Mari of liver and camera upper stomach as in the last five months had siskness with blood and bad constipation also went in again with bloating and I feel confused and really not well thanks for reply.
