Hai all,

My 4 month old doughter who born with weight 2.6 kg and now even after 4 months is has only reached to 3.3 kg. We are very much worried about her weakness as she often vomites and till now do not have firm hold on her neck. As examined by peditrician given tests and values that are out of normal range are as follwoes

1-CBC (Neutrophilis 17.2 percent, Lymphocytes 76.8 percent, Platelets 664x10E9/L)

2-SERUM ALBUMIN 2.5

3-SGPT(Alt) 62 IU/L

Please some one suggest

Thx

Hi,

We are sorry to read that your baby daughter is ill.

This forum is for adults who have liver problems, may we suggest that you contact The Children's Liver Disease Foundation for more assistance, here is their website;

childliverdisease.org/

They may be able to give you some general advice but really all specific guidance should come from your daughters own medical doctors.

We wish you all the very best,

BLT Admin

Labtestsonline.org.uk might help you understand test results. However, doctors will consider the whole blood profile and not just a few which might be out of range which is why the doctors treating your baby are the best ones to talk to. Don't be afraid to say that you don't understand ... it's very important that you understand all of the information you receive from the team looking after your precious daughter.

I realise that this is a very worrying time for you and your family however, I am sure the paediatric team know what they are doing.

I will keep your tiny baby in my thoughts and prayers.
