So I have liver disease?
You need to go doctors none of us are on here
Yes as jojo mentioned it's best to see your own doctor . I had a big yummy 9 yrs ago with cirrhosis but that was due to ascites. Good luck.
Could be anything have a doctor check you out , let us know good luck.
Like jo said, were not doctors. You may have something that has nothing to do with your liver.
Any treatment and help we have gotten to similar issues you have would not apply to you, as, again , who knows what you may have..if anything at all.
Good luck.
It always amazes me when people come on here without having been to see a doctor. This is a support and information sharing group. But all of us see consultants, and have had extensive testing, treatments, transplants etc.
Take care,
Kimberly
Went to see a doctor today. Abdominal and pelvis ultrasound was ordered. As well as all the blood work.
Thank you for your answers.
The ultrasound should show the cause of swelling and your GP will explain this to you.
Good luck! Hopefully it won't be too bad, and really, I hope it's not liver disease. Trust me, you don't want that. Maybe it's yr spleen? Mine is twice the normal size!
Also, it's funny but your belly is the only area in your body where you can have sickness in one place, but feel pain on the opposite side. So strange!
Cheering you on!
Kimberly
Had abdominal ultrasound done few day ago:
. Calcified granulomas in the spleen
.cysts on both kidneys
.liver steatosis (fatty liver)
.no presence of ascites
Haven't had a drink for over 8 months. A little bit overweight.
Get the copy of the results from the radiologist. Have no received a call from my PCP.
