Nash , liver pain and also spleen pain

Hi everyone.

Hope everyone is as well as can be expected. I have Nash with alot of liver pain as it's very enlarged. My spleen is also enlarged but I've started getting agonising pain from the spleen area, does anyone think my spleen and liver might have got bigger? Thank you to everyone . Please take care. Lots of love Lynne

Hi, I have just spent a night in hospital with exactly the pain you describe. I have a big liver and spleen, I have cirhossis. After bloods and reassurance was allowed home and now getting lots of appointments thru the post, i.e., scan, endoscopy and appt with hepatologist.

I think mine was a flare up. Had been in so much pain the whole weekend, test results may give a reason

Best wishes, julie

Hi I have a extremely large liver and spleen but I haven't had extreme pain like your.Did the Drs say why the pain was so bad? I have not long finished hep c treatment of 6 months as I am genotype 1. My liver specialist said I need to have a scan and bloods in late October then regularly as there's a big chance a tumour will grow and we need to get on top of it quickly.has anyone else been told that? One of our closest and dearest friends died Thursday from liver cancer. Were all devestated and I am so scared also.just wondered why you guys got such bad pain? I am a newbi so I have probably posted on the wrong spot.i truly hope you all get better and don't suffer any more pain.kindest regards Cathy-anne

Hi Cathy Ann. .your certainly not on the wrong site..we all welcome you with much love and you'll find us a friendly group. My liver pain I've been told is the result of having cirrhosis and a huge livery and spleen that get angry now and then. Been told I'll definitely need a transplant but when I dont know. Having varices banded on 8th August. Scan on 18th and hepatologist consult on 21st so it's monitoring being carried out regularly. I often feel like I have flu. I'm so sorry for your loss and for your illness button you'll find this site a great support. Keep in touch Julie xxx

Hi

I'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend, it must be so hard for you all.

My consultant said I get so much pain because the liver is so stretched causing the capsule around the liver to stretch and cause pain.please take care. Lots of love Lynne xxxx
