I'm kind of late but I wish you well. My friend had her liver transplant and is doing well. She was also EXTREMELY OBESE and is doing great. She also is in her late 50's. Your going to be fine.

I hope that because we haven't seen a message to say 'false alarm' that you are currently recovering after your tx. I so hope so. I am wishing you all the very very best and a very speedy recovery xx

Unfortunately I suffered a major heammorage so they abandoned the TP. I spent 12 days in a coma, only to regain consciousness and was told they had said I wouldn’t leave ICU and if I did I would never make it out of the hospital alive. Pleased to say I got discharged on 13th Dec and am now just over 6 weeks away from being stuck on my back. No second chance at a transplant, but they have said they would expect me to get at least a good couple of years in before the inevitable happens.

Sincerely hope Ray is not offended by me copying and pasting the above, I have just found on Rays Blog, 1liver1life. I have been constantly wondering how he is and wish him all the best. God bless you Ray. Keep smiling xxx

No offence at all Oscar. I have just finished the latest blog so will now get it posted covering the false alarm, the real deal, what happened and attempt to get back on track with regular updates. Recovery has been a challenge as I have developed some fluid on my lung which has left me feeling very breathless so walking is a challenge, but guess what - a bit of breathlessness is a million times better than my initial prognosis.
