So I have decided that waiting for 'the call' is like being in a new relationship...
First thing I think about when I wake up, last thing I think about before going to bed, I dream about it when I'm sleeping, I day dream when I'm awake and meant to be working....I can count the hours since being activated...if I think about it I could probably count the seconds. When I am with people it's all I talk about, I find myself doing crap jobs to take my mind off it....I use my work mobile to call my own mobile just to make sure my phones still working......it's been 5 days people....I feel like we have had date one - the assessment, we got on well....I made an impression, got the second date - the information day....I thought it was going to be a beautiful relationship, but I'm STILL waiting....
My other half laughs at me because he knows I am less than patient...I have decided you are all troopers, especially those that are too poorly to work, I'm grateful I can work at least some points through out the day I need to focus.
You are all heros in my eyes, I hope your day is treating you well regardless of your situation.

I'm not keen on my relationship, she wants me to always be at her beck and call, when I want to go out and dress up with my friends, she expects me drop everything to go stay at hers but I can't even leave my toothbrush round hers. She's so fussy on what we eat when we are together. I want to call it off so I can get on with my life but she won't let me go!
I've got a day out in London with her soon, anyone got any ideas how I can let her down gently??

No fear I was just ramping it up a little, like boys do, this weekend I've been dressed in a tutu with 12 friends at a ballet class to raise organ donation awareness, a liver transplant will not define who I am, I'm not saying I don't have the odd moment, but I'm in a good place at the moment. xx
Not sure how to get photos up on here, so you'll need to go to the badlands of Facebook and search for garethsliverjourney, there is much pink nonsense and tutu'ing for all to see. At this rate I may turn up for my transplant wearing my tutu......mmmmm there is a thought......🤔😝
It passes the time, my friends get a little nervous when I ask them what they are doing on a certain weekend! Although I'm the sicky one I'm probably fitter than most of them! 💪😊
Hi, I hope your wait is not too long, my wait was only 7 days. As for my phone I downloaded a ringtone which sounded like an ambulance siren and used it as a contact ring tone.

I myself have just been speaking to a gentleman in the liver support group at Birmingham queen Elizabeth hospital , we must have been talking over an hour ! he had a liver transplant 17 yrs ago.!! He now helps in all areas of the liver . Will be good to meet him soon , your Aleays one day closer to that phone call , i pray that you receive one soon you deserve it .. Love and hugs ❤️ Linda X
