Hi all just a quick update and hopefully a boost for people waiting for a transplant. this was me exactly 3 weeks to the day of having it. I am having good and lazy days but to you all it will change your life again!!! Hope this finds you all well and Thank You to people who supported and offered sound advice or just someone to have a moan at I will never forget xxx

Thanks for posting Jo Jo. You are a great inspiration for like you say those waiting on the list. You seem to be taking it all in your stride and long may your recovery continue as you seem to be doing so well. You must feel reborn so to speak as I know how poorly you had been

Even from just a week behind you I can't believe I could look as well as you. As a 59 year old man

I can't see my hair that beautiful for a start!!!!! As long as I don't scare the granddaughters!!

Hey you got your sense of humour lol and congratulations on receiving your gift. 10 days difference in recovery is also a big deal I was in with another lady who had hers about 4 days after me and she was frustrated that her recovery was taking a little longer but we are all individuals and also depends on the donors organ. main thing is your making progress xxx
