As I mentioned in a previous post, I was diagnosed with PBC in 2013, and have been managing my condition with URSO. A week ago I began having pain in my left breast, so badly that it woke me up in the night. Doesn't seem to be a lump however had a breast reduction 35 years ago so breast tissue isn't completely even, making it difficult to notice changes. Ultrasound came back clear according to the technician and the radiologist that stepped in to take second look. I just had a mammogram done on Thursday and I'm now waiting for the results which could take 2 to 3 weeks. My question is are there increased incidents of Cancer or other diseases while coping with PBC autoimmune disease?
