Here is an interesting article, a medical publication showing, through research, why everyone with HCV should be treated as soon as possible, no matter what their Fibroscan score is. I hope the NHS has this information...

Sadly this is not the case..although I do have cirrhosis and low platelets I will still have to wait until next year before I get treated..they are treating urgent cases first then moving to cirrhotic patients when they can..hoping my turn will be early next year as I am feeling down at the moment with having to wait maybe another 6mths with all the nose bleeds and feeling like the living dead most days through lack of not being able to sleep at night!
