Brilliant I hope your ongoing tests confirm SVR, and your liver compensates better which is often the case.

I had two courses of Pegasus and Pegatron both alphafuron ribavirin types a truly nightmarish experience all to no avail . I was told back then in 04 and 07 respectively that I should not give up as it was not game over. Low and behold in 2015 a new treatment became available -Harvoni and it is a compound that kills the virus as opposed to stimulating the immune system as in the case of interferon ribavarin . I did a 6 months treatment due to the extent of fibrosis and was clear after 1 month and lft returned to normal. I am grateful to have had such treatment and would urge other previous non responders to ask for this new wonder drug available . It is expensive 6k gbp per month, but if you have private coverage through work or otherwise it is less draining on your savings account.

. Urban, I feel for your situation It was like when I did not respond to the interferon ribavirin twice in the past 12 years. Don't give up hope, try something else there is always something coming out of the research being conducted , above all keep a positive mind set. I don't know your situation It sounds like you have been through a lot . take care. I could relapse it is not a cure. It is too early to tell. they have not done any long term studies because the data is not out yet. I have guarded optimism and basically life day to day with a positive mental attitude.
