I've got a couple of spots in my liver that due to their location I can't have them surgically removed.

The drs are recommending ablation. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you

Hi there, I recently had 2 cancerous tumours removed from my liver using RFA, I'm awaiting MRI to see if the procedure was successful. The procedure was pretty quick and I was only in hospital 3 days as you have to go in the day before for Obs etc, a little discomfort afterwards and bruising but much better than I imagined. Hope this helps ..

Thank you. It doesn't sound too bad apart from the 3 day hospital stay. I only stayed 4 for a resection lol.

Hope you get good news with your next mri 😄
