Unless you have advice to the contrary from your doctor, there is no reason why you should not travel. Insurance may be an issue you need to think about, however.

From my experience there's no problem and travel insurance was no great issue as long as you don't have complicating factors such as portal hypertension. Have fun, phil

Hi. I know it is for a different problem, but the list is just as useful. Macmillan cancer care produce a booklet on travel insurance for people with known medical problems. It lists some 'user friendly' insurance companies - but do shop around. The Macmillan booklet is free and can be seen on line. Good luck!!
