it doesn't matter-almost anything fresh will be beneficial-even simply steamed veg like broccoli/cauliflower with a bit of olive oil/lemon will help, What won't help is microwaved meals from M&S or wherever. No need to go mad-you should see improvements in 6 weeks if you start eating fresh food and limit the alcohol of course

I think the answer is to keep healthy - so a generally healthy diet with fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty of exercise - lose weight if you are overweight (if you can!) and of course no alcohol. It is the whole lifestyle thing. At least there is plenty of fesh fruit and vegetables around at the moment. Good luck!

I'd get a juicer so you can make your own fruit and veg juices. It's a great way of getting the right nutrients in you body in the fastest way possible. If you google either Jason Vale or the Juice Master (same person), you can pick up some great recipes from him free of charge. Or you can pay for a whole book of the things!
