My understanding is that anything over 5 can be dangerous so that when it reaches that level you should take steps to bring it down. This may mean changing your medication and diet. The diet thing is a pain as many 'healthy foods' eg orange juice /bananas are high potassium.

Many thanks. I have noted the foods that are high which seems as you say are the good foods group, ironic! Including marmite my fav...so now an other diamention on my diet regime. Thanks. Yes I read over 5 is high close to 6 very high or 6 immediate action. I await my secondary u&e results.
