I realised yesterday that with my volunteering at parkrun as tailwalker, and at a charity event as tailwalker, plus a walk at work I've got about 7 5k's in three weeks. Ouch. I'm more a walker than jogger now, after ankle injury last year, I'm still careful with it. I do sometimes do what I call ' move a bit faster' at parkrun if not volunteering.
Lots of 5k's coming up for me. : I realised... - Bridge to 10K

that’s great, you’re still getting miles in 😀. When I marshalled my favourite part of a 3 lap course was at the top of a small incline, so if I saw someone flagging I’d go down and run up it with them ☺️

Sounds good and if you can't run then a brisk walk is the best, well done for your volunteering too at parkrun and enjoy those move a bit faster bits when you can.
