As filthy as a 🐷 in a Mud Puddle

Hello Mallards Pike My ole friend it’s been 16months since I last graced you with my awesome presence and general wheezyness as I RUN.. the reason it’s been so long is I did a birthday run there and got back to find my car had been keyed , it’s upset me so much I didn’t return back to run there .

Until today - did I miss the route ??? NOPE 🤣🤦‍♀️ did I miss the scenery ?? YES Will I return ?? I don’t know

The route was caked in mud deep mud , wet cold slippy and my feet are now wet cold and dirty . Recent storm weather made a lot of paths impossible to run mini rivers of water flowing down and paths rutted up ..

It was nice to return back as it was shut off to cars so it was lovely and quiet there . BUT I’m unsure if I’ll make this one a run favourite route .

Happy to report once back to car it was absolutely fine

That's a beautiful place for sure! If you do decide to go back let's hope the weather will be better, your run sounds like hard work.

Glad your car was unscathed, the weather is obviously too inhospitable for that sort of lowlife to be around.
