Hello Linda. Thank you for organising this. I ran my 10K this morning at 11:30am on a beautiful calm and warm day. No clouds in the Sky. My finish time was 1 hour and 1 minute or 61 minutes. I walked 1 kilometer home to cool down afterwards.

Nope! Not that we have first or last ... genuinely just a winner amongst winners ๐Ÿฅฐ

Thank you, Curlygurly2 , for sharing this! I am right behind you ๐Ÿ˜Š

I am running this morning and had been strangely nervous about my slow 90 minute goal (will I meet it? It's pushing me!). Until I saw your post! It is both a relief and an inspiration to see that I am not the only (proud!) slow af runner ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

Congratulations on completing the 10K ๐Ÿฅณ

I love this. All speeds are to be celebrated, because the real celebration is getting started, finishing and enjoying ๐Ÿฅณ

Hi Linda, I completed my 10K this morning: total distance 10.01K, time 1:10:01

Fabulous! Well done. I'll add that to the list now ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Linda and team. Thank you for getting us all out and making me put a lot more effort into my usual Thursday 10k. I completed the 10k in 1:21:56. I set off at 6:30am so I could get home and showered before WFH. Met lots of lovely dogs on the way, some of which I say hello to every Thursday morning!

thanks for organising linda9389 !

I have managed to squeeze this in just before the deadline and despite not feeling up to it at all recently!

I managed it in 1:07 which I think is a minute faster than my last years time!

Stats first: 10K in 01:29:20

๐Ÿข

Essay ๐Ÿ™ƒ second: I did it ๐Ÿฅณ I am so super proud of this! It was my first 10K since, well, a while... A bunch of viruses kept sidelining me, including Corona for Christmas. But I am back now ๐Ÿ’ช Last week was my first 90 minute run and I was so close to 10K, I decided for this week, I'd try to finish the 10K within the 90 minutes.

To do that, I allowed my heart rate to go a bit higher than I'd like for long runs. At first, I was stressing myself around that - heart rate too high, me too slow, will I make it?! ๐Ÿ™ˆ Then I realized that this is also my mindful, naked run, so time to focus on surroundings. Birds. Green. My smile appeared on my face and I just ran. ๐Ÿ˜Š

This was also day 25 of the #SiRunStreak24 to raise awareness about running (and movement in general) as a mental health tool. I've been running or walking (almost) every day of May at least 10K (one day, before I redefined my streak like this, I walked 9K). ๐Ÿฅณ

The only sadness: I haven't heard back from Sprinters, so I might not get a medal... ๐Ÿ˜ข Although, tbh, I don't really need it... ๐Ÿซฃ

Wow, that's awesome!!! Well done. Target smashed. Don't worry, you won't have missed sprinters yet. You emailed them about overseas postage right? I will be messaging them next week once we have closed the ordering window; I will mention it to them then. If you hear from them first, could you pop a message here or in chat for me.

Yes, I emailed them about shipping to Germany and, yes, I'll let you know if they respond before I hear from you ๐Ÿ˜Š .

Well, I did it. Just about, and just in time too. It wasn't pretty but I did enjoy it in a strange way, even though my legs were screaming at me by the end. Time 1:41:23

Thanks for organising linda9389 Loved the eclectic playlist too!

Thank you for all the organisation ๐Ÿ™‚

I tried for 10k today and had to pull up unfortunately. Just one of those things at the moment.

Well done all! A great thing to be part of ๐Ÿ‘

Sorry it didn't work out for you today. If you have a time for 10k run and walk - that counts just fine. I can record that for you if you have it.

Guess who literally just finished their HU10?!โ€™n Iโ€™ll give you a clue-it was me!!! Got absolutely soaked, ran in the dark, fuelled on custard creams. So pleased to get it done!!! Iโ€™m going to stretch, shower and order my medal.

Not close fastest but one of the most satisfying to finish. A hard fought 1hr9 minutes.

Thank you so much for organising this. Knowing I was running with everyone else got me over the line today. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
