I woke up this morning knowing this was the day!! My day, my time to run! The wind was blowing a hoolie, usually a deterrent but today I didn’t care!! I donned my gear and in a flash was out the door welcoming the elements & the sound of Coach B in my ear again. Back into training and what a feeling!
Why do we miss it so much when we can’t run ( I have been dealing with an ear abscess) and take it so for granted when we can? If you are skulking indoors wondering 🤔 should I, shouldn’t I, do yourself a favour and get out and run the run, you can!!

Great run for you today Annieapple, I am sure you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed my mid week run, this morning I ran my 47th 10K in a reasonable time of 1:13:29, it wasn't too windy as where you ran but there was very light rain during my run, I just hope that ear abscess you have isn't too bad and goes away soon.
Looking back, the last 10K from today was 4 weeks ago, my first 10K this year was #45 which was on the tenth day of Christmas, January 3rd, later this year in September and October I will be running two race event 10Ks, the first one is my local Cumbernauld 10k and the second is the 10K version of the Great Scottish Run.
Well done you Bonnie lass for getting out there. It’s a great feeling isn’t it when you start to feel better and you feel like you can conquer the world and you just got out there! 🥳. You are brilliant Annieapple 🥰xx
Ouch on the ears! Have had plenty of ear trouble, but that is one I have managed to dodge!
Well done for the run; sometimes it really does just click. I have had a couple of those recently, but getting up and out for a 20 minute run this morning wasn't one of them. I needed the loo for about 16 of the 20 minutes! 🫣
Ouch Annie, ear abscess nasty, I can sympathise as I have regular ear infections, never an abscess though. I know that feeling of just needing to get out and run, it's such a good feeling isn't it?
Empathise with you!! They are horrible! Do you get vertigo with them??? That’s unfortunately what actually stopped me running! Oh it’s an amazing feeling to run again, you are so right!
