HU Navigation experiment

Some mobile users will notice that the HU navigation bar has moved from the top to the bottom of their display .This is a temporary trial to validate a potential improvement to navigation.

This trial is now live and has been randomly rolled out to 50 % of HU mobile users .

I’m glad you posted that Instructor57. I have just gone on to the site and thought I was going mad when I couldn’t see the bar and there it is at the bottom., just above the keyboard.!

Thanks for your note I57.

It threw me at first (took me a while to figure out what had happened to the controls).

Seems that it's not 50% of users this is being tried on but a 50% chance every time a screen is loaded. That's my experience: the bar randomly appears on the top or bottom.

Personally I'd prefer to have just the one toolbar, maybe I should get in touch with the developers?

Instructor57 My navigation bar never moved before, but just now I spent 5 minutes wondering why it had vanished, only to notice it at the bottom of my screen.Has this been rolled out for everyone now? It wasn't like that a short while ago

I have not heard anymore from HU since the start of the trail so I don't know unfortunately.

Mine seems to jump from top to bottom and back several times a day sometimes
